We talked about a similar activity during Study Circles in Tyndall but it did not make the "to do" list when we set up stragetic planning. We do have a Welcome Basket which is distributed by Chamber and a volunteer from one of our churches. Items are donated by businesses-certificates, brochures, pens,promotional items, etc. and our flower shop puts them together. Chamber pays them for the basket. It has been working very well for us. One draw back is that it may not always reach the residents of Tyndall who do not live in the city proper. Good luck with yours! How did you set up the Welcome Banquet?
